Diabolus in Musica

Introduction

We are delighted to announce that the "Musique et Montagne" course will embark on a new chapter in 2027, following 34 exceptional editions led by its founder, Christophe Gesseney. Justyna Pakulak and Benjamin Fau, faithful choir directors to the course for many years, have decided to carry on this tradition of combining music and the mountains through a new course called Diabolus in Musica, a musical nod to the Diablerets massif.

This course will consist of two consecutive workshops :

Ensemble vocal

An intensive 4-day vocal ensemble workshop focused on the preparation of a concert and featuring vocal coaching, sight-reading sessions, and a mountain hike (maximum 25 participants).

Friday, July 30 (evening) – Wednesday, August 4 (midday)

Grand choeur

An 11-day large choir workshop featuring two mountain hikes and the preparation of two concerts with soloists and an instrumental ensemble.

Wednesday, August 4 (afternoon) – Saturday, August 14 (evening)

You may register for either workshop (vocal ensemble or large choir) or both, if the adventure appeals to you !
